Illinois Police Officers Memorial Committee

Honoring Law Enforcement Officers Who Have Given Their Lives in the Performance of Their Duty
Monument Renovations

The Committee has been authorized by the State to perform maintenance on the Memorial. In order to maintain the beauty and integrity of what the Memorial represents, the Committee decided to repair the damages that have accumulated with the normal wear and tear that comes with twenty years on the West Lawn of the State Capital.

All work with the Memorial is self-supported through donations and has never used taxpayer funds.

All work on the Memorial has been completed and the sculpture has returned to the State Capital, in time for the 2010 Memorial Ceremony: which marks the 25th anniversary of the Illinois Police Memorial and the 20th anniversary of the dedication of the Illinois Police Memorial Statue.
